We only use ArtDeShine Ceramic and Graphene Coatings including a 5 year ceramic and a range topping 7 year Graphene based option. We also offer their wheels, glass and interior graphene protection.

We have used and tested lots of coating products including authorised only products from all of the major brands. Most either require extensive care and annual top ups (defeats the point of a multi year coating surely?) or haven’t been updated for years. ArtDeShine already had the best coating in NGC Version 3, but in November 24 updated it AGAIN to NGC+ and we are blown away by this product having tested it since early-mid ‘24 ahead of its global release

It depends on a lot of factors - what brand of car you have, how bad the paint is and what your expectations are of a detail. With modern polishes and pads a lot of cars can be made near enough perfect with a single stage. If the paint is obviously a little unloved then it will probably need more. Most cars under a year old should be fine with a 1 stage

STEK has an excellent Flourine based hydrophobic top coat in their gloss PPF, and sells a great range of maintenance products, so a ceramic coating isn’t necessarily required but we do see improved and more durable hydrophobic protection by installing ArtDeShine Nano Graphene + 7 Year Coating on PPF surfaces. We always recommend an ArtDeShine coating on Matte or Satin PPF

Coatings are designed to make your car easier to wash and maintain and good coatings will improve surface resistance to swirl marks by being slick or hard wearing, but offer no real physical protection. PPF is a physical piece of film (like a phone screen protector) designed to protect your factory paint from physical damage such as stone chips, road rash, scratches and swirl marks. PPF offers better protection but is also more expensive than a coating. A lot of people do Front End PPF and Coatings on the rest of the car for a balance between cost and protection

As standard we wash the wheels, arches and coat the wheel faces in with the prices above. We can remove the wheels, safely clean them and coat them on our wheel stand and refit and correctly torque your wheel back up to factory spec. This costs £150+VAT extra on top of the package prices.

Before any car can be polished or coated, we must ensure the entire car is as clean as possible and any embedded contamination on the paintwork is removed. Our process includes safely cleaning your wheels, arches and tyres. Next we would use a citrus based degreaser to safely break down any dirt on the paint before pressure washing away. Next we snow foam, deep clean all of the shuts, sills and seams on your car. After the foam is rinsed away, we wash the paint work with shampoo and a wash mitt. Following a further rinse, we decontaminate with a fallout remover, tar remover and finally use a clay bar to remove anything left. After all of this, we can finally begin polishing the car.
